So I decided that I am going to make a new category that I am going to write about called "Fun Funds", because I am so big on community service. It will include brief information about funds and organizations that I have learned about! The first fund I would like to talk about is called "Darius Goes West". Darius Goes West is actually a documentary of a project about a boy named Darius, who suffers from a disease called DMD, or Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The reason why I am writing about this is because this is a disease that can be cured in our lifetime!!! Although everyone everywhere wants to cure cancer, AIDS, etc. we still have lots of research ahead of us before we can cure the epidemics. But DMD can be cured because there have been many breakthroughs in DMD studies already.
